Hannah Heinrich
Hannah was born and raised in Nyack, New York, which has both rural and urban characteristics and is only a stone's throw away from New York City. Much of her perspective was formed during travels throughout the state of NY while observing different walks of life from suburbanites to rural dwellers. Her art envelops a blend of those observations and a sensibility of all the in between. It also draws many conclusions about travel, conservation and leaving the smallest possible footprint on this Earth. Hannah graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2004 with a BFA in Photography. She has since worked on a variety of freelance film projects as well as served as the assistant to Director Jonathan Demme. contact: hannah@seedlingproject.org
Joshua Guy Blanchard Lewis Joshua is a freelance translator and journalist who encountered The Seedling Project while volunteering for The Cusichaca Trust on his gap year. The work of the project appealed to his sense of adventure, so he decided to lend a hand where he could best—through his knowledge of Spanish. Before his journey to Peru, Joshua travelled extensively across four continents, and spent his formative years in the Catalan region of Spain. His wide range of interests include literature, ancient history and languages, all of which can be found in the degree in classics which he will be taking up in September at Cambridge University. He also enjoys creative writing (and has had his work published in the collections Express Yourself , and Open Other End ), tai chi and eating biscuits. contact: joshua@seedlingproject.org
Meara O'Reilly Meara studied experimental music and psychoacoustics at Hampshire College and is a member of the band Feathers. She is currently working on her solo album and lives on a dairy farm in Vermont.
Amy Deneson Amy hustles public relations and development campaigns for indie photobook publishers in NYC and around the world while also representing artists in fashion, fine art, documentary and mixed media. Amy’s attraction to public relations is attributed to the spirit of star clusters in that stars gravitate toward others that emit the energy of life, belief, and enablement so that together they thrive—usually for a lifetime—creating new constellations. contact: amy@adpnyc.com
Jonathan Samuel Kaufman Scher Jon was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Nyack, New York. He received a BA of Biology from Brandeis University.
